Our Chemo-Unity events are a crucial part to our fundraising efforts. They allow us an opportunity to join together and celebrate our mission, while also helping raise money. Which in return, allows us the ability to provide more Chemo-Unity Bags to patients in need.

On September 4th, Chemo-Unity held a fundraiser in OTR auctioning off a variety of gifts and prizes.

Penny Wars
2022: On-Going Event
Northwestern Mutual has begun to raise money for the Chemo-Unity Organization this year through in office "penny wars". Their goal is to raise $50,000 in a year.
So far, they have raised $4,174!!

A local, Cincinnati Annual Golf Outing is held each year in August in honor of Rob Hertzel. All proceeds are donated to the Chemo-Unity Organiziation. It is a massive fundraising event for the foundation and has raised over $100,000 to date!!
11th Anniversary of 11/11
The Hertzel Cup

12 years and counting!
The Cincinnati City Open Championship was renamed the Hertzel Cup in honor of Rob Hertzel in January 2012. Last year’s Championship featured the city’s greatest paddle players and hosted 46 teams competing for its coveted Hertzel Paddle Trophy Board and Contestant Signed Players Flags. Hertzel Cup contestants have found this Championship to be the best Cincinnati paddle day of the year as teams compete and honor the legacy of Rob Hertzel who died of cancer on Nov 11, 2011.

In honor of the 11th Anniversary of Rob (Peewee) Hertzel's passing, the Chemo-Unity Team spread the word campaigning through social media posts to have 11 friends donate $11.
The support and response was astounding and what started as a small goal, soon transformed into an overwhelming amount of donations which reached a very special number.......
$11,000 !!!!!
That single day of fundraising, will allow us to gift bags to over 440 individuals undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
Tuesday, November 15th the Chemo-Unity teamed began their drop-offs and assembled and delivered 80 bags to over 8 different infusion centers.
